TO YOUR TICKET AT AIRPORT

Do you need to change a ticket departure date, or make a change?
People change their plans, and the airlines make money.
I have called the toll free number to the airlines, and asked.
May I change my date.
Yes, it will cost you 100 dollars US.
I then go to the airport.
Walk up to the counter, and ask them to change the date.
They ask.
“Are you paying with credit card?”
“No, I am paying with cash.”
They do not like cash.
They want you to pay with a credit card.
They want you to make the change with the travel
agent, or over the telephone.
Their goal is to check in passengers.
hmmm If they wave the charges, and make the change.
Life is easier for them.
This does not always work, but worth a try.
If you ask them if they do this, they will say no.
But, I have done it twice.
