aaaagh.... If one more person tells me how easy it is to find cheap
airplane tickets on the internet I will explode!!!!!
It’s NOT that easy!!!

What is a CHEAP Airfare?

To know what is a CHEAP airfare, we need to know
what is NOT a cheap airfare.

Published Airfares are NOT cheap.

What are published airfares?
a. Prices you get from Airlines
b. Prices you get from Travel Agents
c. Prices you get when doing a Internet Search.

These prices are published by the airlines.

Published airfares vary greatly from between different
Airlines and different dates. If you change anything, then the price
changes. It you ask the next day, the price may, or will be
different.

I have 4 separate ways to learn what a good price is, or IS NOT.

1st: INTERNET SEARCH
http://www.travelocity.com
http://www.expedia.com
http://www.onetravel.com

2nd: BEST ADVERTISED PRICE:
Get the travel section in out of the Sunday newspaper of a LARGE CITY.
You can find these papers for free at a lot of libraries or in newsstands.
There is usually a section devoted to cheap airfares.

3rd: INTERNET NEWSLETTERS
I recommend you subscribe to newsletters. This may
be more difficult for some countries.
Here are 4 for the USA:
Go to the page to subscribe
http://www.SmarterLiving.com
http://www.bestfares.com
http://www.travelzoo.com
http://www.frommers.com

If you wish to recommend a newsletter for other countries.

4th: TRAVEL AGENCY
I ask 3 travel agencies.

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

2 major reason why people do not get good airfares.

~ I HAVE A FRIEND PROBLEM.
I have a good friend that helps me
that works at.....blah blah blah ...
This could be good, but normally NO.

~ BAD MEMORY, or DISORGANIZED
After talking to different people they have a pile of notes. None
of them complete, and they are just plain confused.

The solution
WORKSHEET
Go to this page and print so you stay organized:

These prices change constantly, If you change any information.
Leaving date, or day of the week, or Return Date
But also when you ask. The prices will vary everyday you ask.
You very seldom will get the same price 2 days in a row.

Be CAREFUL They will advertise
“Guaranteed lowest fare”
This probably means the lowest published fare.

OK>>> STOP

THESE ARE NOT CHEAP AIRFARES. (some could be)

If you looked in the Sunday section of the large city newspaper.
Then you probably are the best bet.

I am not explaining here, How to buy a cheap ticket.
I am explaining what is a cheap ticket.
After all this research you will know what a cheap ticket is.

The future newsletters will help you buy airfare for half of what
the travel agents says.
