What is an air courier?
An air courier is a person who carries shipping documents on international
flights for a courier company in exchange for a discounted air ticket.
Why do they use a courier, and not send packages normal air cargo?
Overnight delivery companies like Federal
Express & DHL must deliver the package in 24 hours. Every country has different rules
enter through customs. By having a courier the documents, or packages enter as normal
baggage. Normal air cargo can take up to two weeks to clear customs.
Who can be an air courier?
Anybody can be a courier. Each company has different requirements. For example
you may have to be 18 years old, and not have a criminal record.
How much money can I save by flying as a courier?
25%, 50%, Free, or sometimes you can get paid.
Why is the air fare ticket discounted?
The couriers companies fly this route on a daily basis. The have prearranged airfare
contracts with the airline for the price of the ticket. What you do is share some
percentage of cost of the ticket. The cost can go up, or down according to the
destination, demand?
Can I fly from anywhere in the world as an air courier?
